Full Time Flooring Course for the Unemployed

Floortrain London is a Sector Based Work Academy working in conjunction with Waltham Forest College and local Job Centres to provide an alternative ‘back to work’ route for learners.

68% of learners completing this course went into employment (the JCP national average is 25%).
The Full Time Flooring course delivers the NOCN CSkills Level 2 Technical Certificate in Floorcoverings over 13 weeks (full time) for 19+ JCP candidates seeking to improve their prospects by training in an alternative field.

Due to the nature of candidate progression, the NOCN Level 1 Award in H&S in a Construction Environment is also incorporated into the course to further enhance future employment opportunities.
The course is delivered in 2 x 6 week blocks and includes flooring work experience placements at the course midpoint as well as work trials/interviews on completion of the course. Floortrain have established productive relationships with local employers who share our ethos and passion in supporting people back into gainful employment.
Learners attend from Monday through to Friday (9am – 4pm)
